Our History

Maximise Engineering Services was founded by James Garson in 2003.
Passionate about British manufacturing, James decided to start an engineering services business with a difference after working for 13 years for a sheet-metal machine tool builder. From its inception, the focus of Maximise Engineering has been to provide engineering services that are flexible, highly responsive and customer-focused. With a wide range of suppliers, we can provide comprehensive engineering support and best value. The business has grown from servicing and repair of Amada punch presses and lasers to include the sale of parts and consumables. We also source second-hand punch presses, lasers and automatic sheet load and unload systems. Our latest product is a unique bespoke robotic handling system.

Our Focus

We understand that every factory or company has different automation needs.
On this basis, we have developed a robotic handling system specifically for punch presses and lasers. Rather than having a one-size-fits-all approach, Maximise Engineering provides a bespoke system that starts with a consultation with each customer and a discussion about their production machines, their products, their lead times, their storage, and their floor space. Our primary consideration is the specific requirements of each customer and designing a handling system for them as well as cut down or eliminate secondary manual operations, optimising performance and increasing ROI.
